Kenyada T. Higgins-Cheatem

My name is Kenyada T. Higgins-Cheatem I am from Morristown Tennessee, but I was born in Hayti Missouri. I spent most of my life in TN so I am "technically" a country girl, I am a proud Alumnus of The University of Florida and a graduate of Everest University Online. At the University of Florida, I studied Anthropology with a concentration in African American Studies, with the aspiration to go into Forensic Science. After taking a year off I enrolled at Everest University through an online program for Criminal Justice which I completed in the summer of 2012. Although my education was complete my life goals and priorities changed and I moved from my previous aspirations to more of wanting a family and a stable job. Formally, I was employed with the Gainesville Alachua County Association of Realtors, where I was the Membership Coordinator. I helped bring in new members to GACAR as well as act as a liaison between new members and the Association. I am currently with LifeSouth Community Blood Centers as their Recruitment Specialist in the HR Department.

I am a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. Initiated in the spring of 2007, and am currently a member of the Eta Phi Sigma Alumni chapter in Gainesville, FL.

I pride myself on being the best I can be, and always finish what I start. What I want in life is what everyone wants: To succeed and know that you have done your best in all that you attempt.
