As a first year graduate student in Social and Comparative Analysis in Education at the University of Pittsburgh, I am exposed to a culturally diverse environment where we deal with issues concerning multiculturalism and pay our attention to the interaction with people from different backgrounds.
With my internship in the Pitt Alumni Association, I also have the chance to put what I am learning about student affairs into practice. Besides, I am gaining my insights into events planning, programs coordination, and meetings organization.
I really like what I am learning and doing right now, because they not only enable me to develop my cultural awareness of the global communities, but also provide me with the opportunity to work with students and various people.
Used to study abroad in Germany and Taiwan, I found out I really like to explore different cultures and educational systems. Therefore, here I came, the United States! Hopefully this would be an amazing experience. At least, I am enjoying it right now!
