International entrepreneur, investor and Advisory Board Deputy Chairman of Aroundtown SA – the largest listed Commercial Real Estate Company in Germany. Aroundtown is also listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (MDAX).

Mr. Yakir Gabay was born 1966 in Jerusalem and lives in Cyprus. Holds a BA degree in economics and accounting, MBA degree in finance and business. Career started in the Prospectus Department of Israel's SEC. CEO of the investment banking division of Bank Leumi, then partner and chairman of Gmul Investments which back then managed investments for pension funds, in real estate and securities totaling $30 Billions.

In 2004, Mr. Yakir Gabay established real estate investment activity in Berlin and Amsterdam and expanded to other large cities in Germany and the Netherlands in the residential, hotel and office markets.

In mid-2012, issued Grand City Properties on Frankfurt Stock Exchange (MDAX), a residential company, at a company value of €150 million which increased to €4 billion market cap.

In mid-2015, listing the shares of Aroundtown SA, owner of commercial real estate in both Euronext Paris and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, at a company value of €1.5 billion which reached €10 billion. Both companies are BBB+ rated by S&P.

The strategy of the companies based on the acquisition of income generating properties in central locations of top tier cities, improvement and optimize return and build an efficient management.
