Yakup Aydin

I started my professional career as a men's and women’s accessories buying assistant at Colin's which is one of the largest retail companies in Istanbul after I graduated with a degree in Textile Engineering in Turkey. I have 3 year fashion retail experience incuding buying, planning and merchandising. My second bachelor degree is fashion. I graduated from Berkeley College with my Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Marketing and Management last summer. I worked for a fashion designer, Hisham Oumlil who was the winner of 2008 fashion group international Rising Star Award when I was studying fashion in New York. I worked as full time merchandiser intern at Nautica in my last quarter of the college and then I worked as departmant manager intern at Century 21 Stores. Now I am working as women hoodies specialist at Gap Store. I believe that all these components of my background make me a better problem solver and allow me to envision the entire picture of fashion business more easily.
