Kira would be considered a Type B personality with Type A tendencies; one moment, he can be laid-back, non-confrontational and a serious listener, but the next, he could be slamming someone against a wall and blowing their brains out. Timeline;

Born on January 3 as the only son to the oyabun of a Yakuza syndicate, Kira was destined to be raised in turbulent, traumatizing conditions. He never lived a proper childhood and his innocence was shattered when he was 7 years old, being forced to ‘execute’ a traitor of his father’s clan. As the son of an organized crime leader, or ‘godfather’, Kira was treated almost as a prince; he was given the utmost respect and whomever dared to step out of line was immediately corrected. He and his father grew very close, as his mother was nothing but a mistress and had a family of her own. At age 12, Kira began receiving his traditional tattoo called an ‘irezumi’. (It has not yet been finished, but he expects it to be around the time he turns thirty.)

When he was 15, he was given his own ‘inner clan’ by his father; this was a test to see whether his son was truly a leader, worthy of becoming the next oyabun.
