Yale Wong is the founder and former CEO of General Biodiesel Inc., established in 2006. Under his leadership, the company grew from a concept into Washington State's leading biodiesel producer, recognized for its commitment to sustainable energy. A creative visionary, Mr. Wong attributes much of his success to assembling the right team and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

With over 25 years of entrepreneurial experience, Mr. Wong has consistently driven revenue growth and operational success. Known for his ability to anticipate challenges and deliver strategic solutions, he skillfully balances big-picture vision with attention to detail, inspiring “esprit de corps” across his teams.

Prior to General Biodiesel, Mr. Wong spent 15 years founding and expanding several technology-driven businesses. Most notably, he founded Compass Communications Inc., one of Washington State's largest broadband internet providers. Compass Communications was a pioneer in suite-to-suite fiber optics, HDTV over the internet, and dedicated international transmissions. The company achieved profitability within its first year and grew into a multi-million-dollar enterprise under Mr. Wong’s leadership.

An advocate for local economies and communities, Mr. Wong actively supports numerous philanthropic organizations, including the Duwamish River Cleanup Coalition (DRCC) and the Bruce Lee Action Museum (BLAM). His contributions have earned him recognition from business, civic, and environmental groups.
