Yamba Mama is a social enterprise that seeks to improve birth outcomes and promote healthy families by providing access to care, education and support to those facing the physical, emotional, economic and social challenges of pregnancy and infant care.

Using the power of mobile technology, we deliver lifesaving health information to pregnant women on their mobile phones. Such information ranges from antenatal care dates, immunization sessions reminders and vaccination schedules for the new born babies. We help pregnant women and new mothers ease stress and provide them with health information using innovative mobile technologies.

Our goal is for women to enter prenatal care in the first phase of their pregnancy so that their babies are born healthy. We are focused on bringing good healthcare to pregnant women in both urban and rural communities with a mission to reduce maternal and infant mortality in Uganda.
