Yamen ElAwamri

Yamen Elawamri is a trusted and accomplished leader with over 20 years of experience in software development, digital transformation, and IT management. Known for his integrity, problem-solving mindset, and strong relationships with his teams, Yamen has consistently delivered innovative solutions across the pharmaceutical, e-payment, e-commerce, aviation, and governmental sectors.

Yamen currently serves as the Senior Digital, Data & IT Manager at Novo Nordisk, where he leads digital initiatives across Egypt, the Gulf, Morocco, and Tunisia. In this role, he is responsible for driving strategic projects such as SAP integrations, third-party logistics providers, digitizing tender management processes, and launching multiple healthcare professional and patient platforms. His focus on quality compliance and audit readiness has been instrumental in ensuring regulatory excellence and operational efficiency.

Prior to joining Novo Nordisk in February 2025, Yamen spent nearly a decade at Sanofi, where he held the position of Digital Program Lead for Egypt, Sudan, and Nigeria. At Sanofi, he led the implementation of Veeva CRM, enterprise data platforms, and numerous digital marketing and patient support programs, earning recognition for his leadership in both technical and change management domains.

Earlier in his career, Yamen held key roles at OneCard (N2V), Link Development, and Petrojet, where he managed large-scale technical projects, transformed digital platforms, and built high-performing teams. His expertise spans product management, business analysis, change management, and web and mobile development.

Yamen holds an MBA in Global Marketing from Paris ESLSCA Business School and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Cairo University. He is also certified in Professional Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, and ITIL Foundation among others.

His achievements include being ranked 32nd out of over 500 MBA students, winning first place at Startup Weekend Cairo, and receiving a personal commendation from the President and CEO of Mobinil (Orange Egypt) for his dedication and service.
