Yamileth Monita

Hi, my name is Yamileth. I am in 12th grade, attending Roosevelt high school in san Antonio, Texas. I am an athlete participating in cross country, track, and soccer. I started track my freshman year. before I joined I just wanted to be part of something, but then I met people along the way and I grew to love the sport and track became my passion. I then played goalkeeper in my sophomore and junior year. When I was just in elementary, my goal was to become an architect. It's a very passionate dream for me because my dad, a house remodeler, would take me to work at times and i loved doing what he did. I learned some skills along the way as well like measuring the perimeter of the whole room, painting, adding tile and cutting it. dreaming big is all what I'm about and I'm going to make them happen.
