Hi, I’m Yanitsa, mother of two, birth & postpartum doula and also lactation consultant.

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria.

I follow Code of Ethics and Standard of practice by DONA International and I am part of The Bulgarian Doula Association.

What is a doula? Birth doula is trained and experienced companion, who provides continuous emotional support and physicalcomfort to a labouring woman and her family. Doula could help you to obtain evidence based information abot pregnancy, birth and postpartum period.

My mission is to keepmy clients informed, inspired and supported, so they can have a safe, satisfying and positive experience as they transition into parenthood. My overall aim as a birth doula is to help the mother experience a positive labour and birth for a gentle transition into motherhood.

Services as birth doula:

- Prenatal meetings including birth planning, preparation and childbirth education (if needed). Giving you the information and tools to plan for a positive birth experience.

- Assistance in writing your birth plan (birth preferences), according to your choices.

- Continuous labour and birth support.

- Immidiate postpartum

- Breastfeeding support.
