In 1995, Yank Barry founded Global Village Champions Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit philanthropic organization that aims to become a world leader in the humanitarian delivery of nutritious food to needy people everywhere. The Foundation works under a bold mission, striving to help sustain human life and eradicate hunger from the face of the Earth, but they have accomplished many feats alongside established partners since humbly beginning. Under Barry’s leadership -- also serving as Chairman -- Global Village Champions Foundation has an ultimate vision of “A Day Without Hunger” on a worldwide scale. More than one billion meals have been provided thus far with many more to come.
