Yan Martinez

I am a company director currently living in Sydney, Australia. My interests range from entrepreneurship to travel. I am also interested in innovation, fitness, and food.

I was Born in Bordeaux, France, and have lived in Beijing, studied in California and moved to Australia in early 2001. Prior to moving to Australia, I was based in Paris and worked for a number of years for the national carrier - Air France.

Here in Australia, I was appointed as Operations & Quality Manager at Air France-KLM; managing all operational and customer service aspects of the group in the APAC region.

After 6 years in this field with Air France-KLM, I left to start my first business – a successful café in the much sought-after Darlinghurst area of Sydney.

My first business quickly became established and was listed a year later in the famous Sydney Morning Herald Good Café guide. Seeking a broader challenge, I successfully sold the business in 2013.

Shortly after, I was appointed as Executive Concierge of Hamilton Island and World Best Resort & former member of Relais & Chateaux Qualia, looking after a large number of VIP clients for the Oatley family.

Following my time on Hamilton Island, I was offered a Client Concierge and Customer Service Manager role with Trivett Bespoke, specialising in Rolls Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin and McLaren brands.

I am expert in the tourism and luxury industries and I am very customer focused, making my clients his number One priority. I have strong knowledge of the European, Asian and US markets.
