Yan finds the prospect of self-promotion incredibly tedious and often embarrasing, so in order to forgo the awkwardness, he is describing himself in the third person.
He loves working on Drupal, and is especially involved with the Party project for Drupal Native CRM and helps with mentoring at Drupal conferences (of which he attends as many as he can't afford).
Yan enjoys playing the Bass guitar and attends Vinelife Church in the lovely Manchester, where you are never short of rainy days to write code.
