Dr. Yan is a Psychology teacher in Guangxi Teachers Education University, Nanning, Guangxi,China, where he teaches courses in cognitive neuroscience, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, The connectome.

Dr. Yan specializes in Psychology, Neuroscience, Brain imaging, and R-fMRI research.

His interest is to explore the social cognitive function and development of the human brain.

Dr. Yan also works as a postdoctoral fellow in Laboratory of Functional Connectome and Devolopment, institute of psychology, Chinese academy of science.
