Yaser Mir

Founder and director @ Engage Communities - an organisation committed to empowering and developing socially excluded and disadvantaged members of communities. I have taken leading roles on national community engagement programmes and held senior advisory roles working with the government. I also work as an Independent Advisor to the Home Office Ending Gang and Youth Violence Team. I've successfully utilised sport as a tool for social change and community development. I set up Round House – a martial arts, boxing and personal development community outreach project helping to tackle health inequalities, anti-social behaviour, urban street gangs and youth violence.
