As a general and special education teacher for over 18 years in the US I have seen a lot of changes in the education system. As with any other profession some of these changes have been for the good and some of the changes are not as effective and helpful. The stresses of today's teachers in 2014 can be challenging. I'm writing this blog to share information I have found helpful to avoid teacher burn out and help teachers continue with the enthusiasm they had as a new teacher. I hope this blog will be positive, uplifting and provide helpful information and tools for teachers to create balance in their lives.
