Who am I:
Currently a graduate student at San Diego State University's geography department working on my Master's thesis. My research is focused on using digital image processing and spatial statistics for ecosystem management and environmental assessment. My thesis work involves using remote sensing products and geospatial analysis to assess the impact of severe droughts on the indigenous forests of South Africa.

Professional interests:
I am interested in careers with a focus on geospatial analysis, data interpretation and visualization, environmental research, as well as projects focused on integration of geographic information systems with other disciplines.

More about me:
My philosophy in a work place is guided by professionalism, creativity, curiosity and a good sense of humor. In life, I let adventure guide me and misadventures teach me. As a nature enthusiast (with an unusual penchant for maps), I am happy being outdoors, exploring a new neighborhood on my bike, or staying indoors with a book.
