Victor Koryagin

Actually this is not about me. My name is Yelena Weinstein, and I am a math teacher in New York. This page is about my friend, an artist Victor Koryagin from Ukraine.

Recently Victor was diagnosed with sarcoma of the soft tissue of his knee in stage 3... So far his treatment included several chemotherapy sessions and the surgery, but now he needs at least $11,000 more to start radiotherapy, ASAP.

Victor runs a small publishing business in Kharkov, Ukraine. It provides for his elderly mother, for sister's family and his 22-year old daughter that he brought up since she was 6, when his wife passed away. But the magnitude of his medical expenses is simply incomprehensible for most Ukrainian residents.
