About Me
Opeyemi Akeredolu is a literacy advocate, educator, and Youth Ambassador with the World Literacy Foundation, passionate about helping every child read with confidence and understanding.
She is the founder of The Bilingual Way, an initiative that helps children in low-income communities bridge the gap between their mother tongue and English, moving from language to meaning.
Opeyemi has trained 100+ teachers, both online and in person, on practical, evidence-based reading instruction, including Jolly Phonics, and has sold 300+ CVC books designed to help young learners build strong reading foundations.
She believes that where a child is born should never determine how far they can learn, and she is committed to creating simple, culturally relevant literacy resources that make reading meaningful and accessible for every child.
