Accomplishments & Work Experience:

Full Circle Adoption Internship:

For one semester, I interned at a nonprofit adoption agency in Northampton, MA. One of my greatest responsibilities at the internship was developing marketing materials for upcoming fundraisers for the agency. I created pamphlets, flyers, and social media posts about the events. In addition, I performed outreach networking to medical facilities and other adoption agencies. I was also responsible for organizing confidential files and other administrative work within the office. I experienced the process of adoption from various different angles. I learned about laws, state regulations, licensing, confidentiality of records, perspective adoptive parent’s process of approval among many other aspects of the field. I spoke with social workers at the agency and learned from them first-hand about the process of adoption and what they do.

Richardsons Ice Cream:

I worked for multiple years as an ice cream scooper in one of the biggest and busiest ice cream factories in New England. I learned to train new employees and assist them when necessary. I also developed strong customer service skills. I learned to effectively problem-solve and address customer complaints. Richardsons is a very fast-paced environment with thousands of customers per night in the summer. It requires a lot of attention to detail, multitasking, and teamwork.

Executive Vice President of Membership:
