Yentl Martinez is a native of Caracas, Venezuela. She moved to the United States as a child and grew up in Central Florida.

Ms. Martinez obtained a Bachelors in science from the University of Central Florida in Business Administration, Marketing and a minor in Hospitality Management. She worked as a Marketing Specialist for several years before attending law school at FAMU College of law, where she graduated with a Juris Doctorate.
