From a family of Chilean folk musicians, he began singing in concerts in 1988 and he began with the spanish guitar in 1998.He began to study percussion in 1999 with drums, congas and bongos.

With this basis he continued his studies taking up the dunduns and djembe in 2004, learning to use the polyrhythms of the ethnic group Manden of Malian origin.
He studied in Japan for several months between 2005 and 2008, enriching himself with history, philosophy and traditions such as taiko music and japanese bowls (cuencos).
Since 2005, he has taken several courses of music therapy, combining this with the group Shirai using bowls of quartz crystal and metal, exploring new sounds.
He also studied the Digeridoo , a traditional instrument from Australia.In 2008 he traveled to Bamako, Mali, to study the kora -he harp of West Africa.

He began to learn how to play the modern kora in the Toumani Diabate school and with Mamadou Kouyaté he studied the traditional kora.

He continued his studies in Los Angeles, California, with Jeliba Baba the Storyteller. With him, he began to set himself up in the office of Jaliyaa, narrating stories with the kora, practicing in schools.

He worked for several months in Cataluña with Sam Sussoh in the group "Kora Abeteata", the magic of the kora.

He collaborates in various groups, recordings of soundtracks and works on the project "21 strings" with self-composed songs, telling tales and stories with the kora.
