Yesenia Torres

Yesenia Torres began her career at Lubbock High School where she earned a Cosmetology License before graduating from high school. Though her career goals have always been to earn a college degree, she saw this as a business opportunity; earning enough money to pay for college while improving her communication skills, learning to deal with new or dissatisfied clients. She enrolled at South Plains College in Levelland, Texas where she discovered her passion for the field of business and later transferred to Texas Tech University, majoring in Business Management and Marketing all while continuing to work full time.

Yesenia is actively involved in the Rawls College of Business through the Tech Marketing Association and a current pledge for Alpha Kappa Psi- a professional business fraternity.
Yesenia continues to work hard to reach her goals of being a proud business owner in the future. For now, she seeks an internship for the summer of 2015, with a company who can further extend her knowledge of the corporate business world and better prepare her for employment after graduation.
