Question: Health Insurance for 19 under?

I'm currently 17 but I will be turning 18 in November. A few years ago when my mom barely had hours at her work, she couldn't afford my insurance any longer so she had to drop it. So now I've been without insurance for a while now. I applied at her job, which offers health insurance after 18 months of working there. it'll be 18 months this November. But I am so fed up with the way the supervisor is treating her employees. I'm planning on quitting but before I can do so, I need to find myself an affordable health insurance? Can someone help me in details please?
