My name is Yimeng Liu, and you can also call me Simon. I was born and raised in Inner Mongolia, China. I'm a UCONN sophomore and a number of the UCONN men's rugby team. I started to play rugby in my first year when I took an exchange year at a British university. I'm majoring in anthropology and am interested in different cultures. My intention and goal is to do something to protect the diversity of cultures on this planet, and I don't want to witness other's cultures being vanished by modern society. I think that's what I'm going to put effort and attention into in my future journey.
