Mr. Zhen Wenhua the outgoing managing director of YKMEX Market Development to continue as Non‐Executive Director on the YKMEX Board
Mr. Julian Xeujun was today recommended for appointment as the Managing Director of YKMEX Market Development by the Board of Directors of the Exchange, subject to the approval of Exchange Commission, for a period of three years. He has also been appointed as Additional Director.
YKMEX offers the benefit of fair price discovery and price risk management to the commodity market ecosystem. Various commodities across segments are traded on YKMEX. These include bullion, energy, metals and agricultural commodities. YKMEX has entered into strategic alliances with various local and International commodity exchanges and business associations.
Consequent to the expiry of the current term of the outgoing Managing Director of the YKMEX, Mr. Zhen Wenhua, he has conveyed his intention not to seek an extension of his term for personal reasons and his willingness to contribute to the Board as a Non-Executive Director of YKMEX.
In the past, Mr. Xuejun has spent 20 years in senior management positions handling roles in finance and treasury. Mr. Yuudai Nakada, member of the YKMEX Executive Board, said: “With over 30 year of experience in positions of great significance, Mr. Xuejun will add value to YKMEX, especially at a time when the Company is deepening its footprint in the global commodity industry.
