Graduating high school I never would have dreamed of being an entrepreneur. That all changed freshman year at the University of Michigan—Ann Arbor when I joined this fast-paced, energetic, “just do it” mentally, student organization called MPowered Entrepreneurship. In one semester I was addicted to the entrepreneurship vibe. Now I am a director of 1000 Pitches—the largest student-run elevator pitch competition…in the world. The event began at the UMich seven years ago but in this past year we expanded to five other universities coast to coast. In the process 7,568 ideas were pitched, thousands of students were impacted, and $45,000 was awarded to those students; truly sparking a national movement.
When I am not living the start-up life you can catch me traveling just about anywhere. My background picture was taken from the mother land in Greece.
I enjoy roller-coasters, 90s music, telling stories and just recently, yoga.
