Yolanda Nelson

Yolanda’s personal vision is to use her gifts and talents that God has given her to make an impact on the world, souls, the future of nursing, and the body of Christ. As a leader/Nurse Educator/ Mentor within the profession of nursing, Yolanda considers herself to possess the following qualities: caring, compassionate, determination, good communicator, a true team player, and motivator. Yolanda aspires to be a Nursing Professor, travel the world creating plans to increase diversity, retain students within the profession of nursing, and inspire women. Yolanda knew from a very young age, that God had provided her gifts that would not only assist in her success, but would impel and motivate others that they can be that change agent! Yolanda plans to utilize her natural gift of mentorship and spiritual gift of service to encourage and motivate women that they can accomplish their goals, dreams, and aspirations. Besides her professional career, Yolanda enjoys baking and her passion to open up her own bakery in which she would provide delicious desserts became a reality. In 2014, Yolanda became co-owner of Sweet Xscapes, LLC. With that said: “the only limits in life are the limits that you set.”
