I was born in Milan, Italy, and moved to London in 1998. From banking (still don't know how that happened!) to graphic design, I had quite a few "career" changes.I approached yoga in 2008. I was going through a bit of a rough patch at that time and my husband thought it would be a good idea for me to try it. A friend of mine at work told me that there was an evening Iyengar yoga class in the workplace, so one day I decided to join her. I found it hard; it left me sore, but something happened within me that made me go back..again and again. From there, I adventured to discover other styles until I came across Vinyasa, and that was pure love. I loved the sweat, the physical and mental challenge and the poise I felt after every class. I knew something within was changing. I started feeling a sense of inner peace and strength that was quite unknown to me.I enrolled onto my first teacher training in 2012 with the YMCAfit and after that followed many workshops and yoga classes. I have had the pleasure to learn from many teachers and many different styles. I am now thrilled to be studying with Yoga Medicine by Tiffany Cruikshank until February 2015, for my second 200hr teacher training. My classes are vinyasa based and vary a little every time. I am passionate about Western and Eastern anatomy, biomechanics and yoga philosophy. I create classes that are infused with simple and clear verbal cues that provide a safe environment for students.
My intention as a yoga teacher is to give students tools to explore yoga postures and to use them to sustain a healthy lifestyle, on all level of being - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
I am also a keen traveller and a passionate crafter.
I create my own scented soy candles, using recycled Bon Maman jars, massage oils, delicate room sprays, which all complements my passion for yoga beautifully.
I believe yoga is a powerful tool for deep transformation and I hope that, through my teachings, I can inspire people to develop a yoga practice that empowers and enhances their lives.
