Yogesh Tadwalkar

or over 10 years, Yogesh has worked extensively in the area of user-centered design. He specializes in human-computer interaction, workspace ergonomics, and product ideation / innovation. Yogesh has worked on diverse range of projects for fortune 500 clients including Microsoft, Yahoo, Intel, Motorola, Sony, Citibank, Samsung, Nokia, and SAP among others. Previously, Yogesh was the Asia Pacific Head of Human Factor's International (HFI) - looking after strategy, business development, and overall technical delivery of HFI's various offices in the region. In Singapore, Yogesh has also worked for several flagship government agencies including Infocomm Development Authority (IDA), Prime Minister's Office (PMO), Ministry of Defence (MINDEF), Central Provident Fund (CPF), Accounting and Regulatory Authority (ACRA), and Ministry of Transport (MOT). Over the years, Yogesh has conducted over 50 training courses and seminars in Singapore for various government ministries and private sector clients on various usability and design related topics. He has been an adjunct lecturer at the M.Tech. (Software Engineering) programme at the Institute of System Sciences (ISS), National University of Singapore (NUS) from 2003. He has also been one of the regular trainers at Public Relations Academy, Ministry of Communication and Arts, Singapore. Yogesh is currently the Chairman of Ergonomics Society of Singapore (ERGOSS). He is also a member of the technical programme committee of CybErg - the world's first virtual conference on human factors. Yogesh was also the Vice President of Usability Professional's Association (UPA), Singapore between 2003 and 2005. Yogesh holds a Masters degree in Human Factors Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore). And a certificate in Human Computer Interaction from Stanford University (USA). He also runs SingUsability - an online forum of over 100 usability professionals and enthusiasts that he founded in 2003.
