Yohan Baillot

Yohan Baillot is French and a US citizen as well after being 20 years in USA. He has two Masters in EE and CS, and specializes in the field of Augmented Reality since he came to the US. He built some of the early wearable AR prototypes during the US Navy Battlefield Augmented Reality Systems project conducted from 1999 to 2005 at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington DC, and then went on creating an AR focused group from 2005 to 2010 at ITT Advanced Engineering and Sciences in Virginia to transfer some of the lesson learned into actual product responding to first responders and military needs at the time. He moved to San Francisco right around the start of the emergence of AR in the commercial market to be in the best place to contribute to the field by proposing his AR consulting services to companies unfamiliar with this technology
