Familjesemester jorden runt

Some for car tenting, some for lake days, one for ski gear, and others for backpacking. On the top, we sat looking at the total valley spread out in a rolling carpet of green, and it was easy to imagine the centuries double-uncovered, to image the view as seen by some unknown indigenous traveller thousands of years ago, and to realize it's going to hopefully be an identical to the view one of my nice-grandchildren would possibly see someday, on a backpacking journey with her grandmother, who first climbed to that vantage level when she was only six.
