Born in Wharton, Texas January 9, 1945. Raised in Houston, Texas, since age 2. Graduated St. Thomas High School May 1963. Graduated University of Houston BA Political Science January 1969. Graduated University of Houston Law Center with Doctor of Jurisprudence May 1969. Sworn in as an attorney on September 15, 1969. Have been in private practice of law since then.
