As founder & CEO of IT company YoSound Productions, Yolanda Batemon lives on the cutting edge of life as the new upcoming and groundbreaking powerhouse technologist. Growing up as a kid in South Hampton, NY, Yolanda Batemon was afforded to experience some luxuries of life that would later become the catalyst to her success. While most 10-year-old girls were playing with dolls, Batemon’s grandfather was teaching her how to replace electrical parts and pieces to household items. “When all the other girls were out playing with dolls and jumping rope; I was intrigued by electrical and technical things. I began to spend my time picking things apart and putting them back together to watch the works of what I’ve done”, Batemon recalls.
Surrounded by the electrical works of her grandfather along with the mentoring he provided, it later became evident to Batemon that the launch of YoSound Productions, Inc. was a career breakthrough anchored in technology. Beginning with office space in her apartment, Batemon offered support and back up services to clients in the area. Batemon then expanded her offerings of more broad ranges of services including audio, video, production, technical training, computer network, hardware, crew/staff administration & management, and also vocalist services.
Today YoSound Productions, Inc. currently offers a broad range of IT services. To-date, Batemon’s business has rendered services for local businesses, churches, artists, and schools to name a few. “My company focuses on creativity, professionalism, a high standard of reliability and affordability. It’s what people want, it’s what they need, and it’s what I provide. I know because I’m a people person”, said Batemon.
