Yolanda Phillips

I am a School teacher who aims to make education relevant and interesting. While my primary aim is to engage students in learning at both middle and senior years, I am also interested in fostering the educational experience for children in the younger years. My classroom focuses on the community of learners. It is challenging, collaborative, differentiated and connected to the real world.

Having returned from living in France and having previously worked in well established schools in Adelaide, SA, Australia I have the knowledge and expertise to facilitate teaching and learning within an educational setting. I have undertaken meaningful professional development and try to keep up-to-date with current events and educational advancements. Such experiences have enabled me to grow personally as well as better meet the needs of my (future) students.
