ASPIRING MISSIONARY YOLANDA WASHINGTON

Born Yolanda Deshawn Berry from Newport Arkansas July 22 1974. Her grandmother, Mrs. Brown and her mother Joann Berry firm example of the Golden Rule, do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Middle child of 5 kids, Yolanda accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1987, later fill with Holy Ghost, at Holy Ghost Academy COGIC in Augusta Arkansas. Her desirer to bring beauty and fashion to all shape and size women she follow her dream and Won the 1990 Miss Augusta Arkansas Beauty Pagent.

Family later moved to Seaside California, a city in Monterey California, where Yolanda study Music and Arts in her senior year in high school. Graduated 1994. After leaving Fort Ord military base, step father retired from US Army. Family moved back to Abilene Texas. But Yolanda contiune using her gift moved to Schweinfurt Germeny 1995. Yolanda join the local military church a Pentecostal Christian denomination. Begin touring wiith the Martin Luther King Choir, singing in the choir all over UK, travel from cities night and day with 3 bus load of military family wives and children creative the world largest choir, quickly turn into over night success.

Visiting the 100th Holy Convocation in Memphis Tenn. Yolanda join the Bountiful Blessing Temple of Deliverance Church of God in Christ under leadership of her spirtiual father late Bishop G.E. Patterson. Serving faithful since 1998, The Church Of God in Christ (COGIC) is a Pentecostal Christian denomination with a predominantly African-American membership.

Sent by her Pastor G.E. Patterson to Dallas Tx place under Watch care to attend her local church where she reside with her son.

Mount Olive Baptism, Senior Pastor Dr. Norman Lee Robinson is a Spirit filled and Spirit led preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Strong Educator encourage Yolanda to attend Mount Olive Baptism Institute, credit school she study Major and Minor Phophets, Book of John, Old and New testiment.
