Yomarie Diaz

Yomarie "Yomie" Diaz is a senior at the University of Connecticut majoring in Allied Health Sciences. She is currently taking on the journey of applying to graduate schools in her field of interest, Higher Education and Student Affairs. Her interest include leadership enrichment, residence life, and multicultural affairs. As an undergraduate she works as coordinator for the METAS Mentoring Program. She is a strong advocate of her campus cultural centers, especially PRLACC where she works. She is involved in the Leadership Legacy Experience and is a Proud Sister of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Incorporated - Kappa Chapter.

In her spare time she likes to travel and has been to places such as China and Italy, as well as studying abroad in the summer of 2012 to Rhodes, Greece. She enjoys watching foreign films (specifically k-dramas and bollywood films). She also enjoys crafting and baking with her niece and nephews. And loves her three-year-old yorkie.
