Editor, Director, and Writer in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania

I am a media executive with 20+ years in the digital, broadcast and print industries who most recently guided digital transformation for the NBC and Telemundo TV stations in Philadelphia. Bottom line, I get it!

Most recently, my responsibilities included all digital products, part of the two station's $100M+ annual revenue. In addition to building and leading a bilingual multi-platform team, I had revenue responsibility and worked with the Sales Team to develop new revenue streams. Under my leadership, NBC10 became the first Station in the company to monetize digital weather. The deal set the standard for how to sell these types of products.

A passionate storyteller, I was Executive Producer of a series of multi-platform projects which were the recipient of numerous recognitions including three Emmy Awards and one national and two regional Edward R. Murrow Awards.

Prior to moving to Broadcast, I was President of Media Vanguards a digital consultancy created to help companies compete and succeed in the digital space.

I also was Vice-President and General Manager, Digital at the Philadelphia Media Network, directing all digital initiatives for a $300M publishing company that included the Philadelphia Inquirer, Daily News and Philly.com.

I developed a least four new revenue streams. Notably, I crafted the strategy for first-in-nation digital tablet and digital subscription program. I also wrote the plan and budget for the Project Liberty Digital Technology Incubator, a first in the country. I conceived and implemented a dynamic paid digital content strategy, including web, nearly a dozen Smartphone and tablet app products.

Before joining Philly.com, I worked at the Dow Jones Local Media Group focusing on online content development, distribution and strategy. I also held a variety of positions at newspapers in New York and New Jersey.
