I am a nature lover and Michigan is a great place to be when it comes to exploring the beauty of the outdoors. Moving from the lower peninsula to the upper has given me the title of "Trooper", meaning born troll, became yooper. I also find a different meaning in "trooper" when it comes to -20 degree weather. However, even the middle of the frigid, frozen winter this state is a beauty! I enjoy kayaking, fishing, hunting, shooting guns, golfing, camping, beach bumming, hiking, ice skating, skiing, and walking my dogs (Hoodie and Duke). My wonderful "trooper" boyfriend, Dan moved to the frigid north with me and loves the outdoors just as much, if not more than I do. Much of our time is spent exploring God's Country aka da U.P. The rest of our time is spent working in the healthcare field and attending college. I am a newly graduated Practical Nurse, continuing on for a Regisered Nursing degree and Dan is a Emergency Medical Technician continuing on to be a Paramedic as well as a Firefighter. We live busy lives, but we never let that stop us from enjoying the great outdoors!
