Each one of us has a string of stories - an intricate timeline of events, which has led us to this present moment.

Behind this smile is a creative and inquisitive kid who was born in a Sudanese refugee camp. Displaced by civil conflict but too young to understand what that really meant, I spent my early childhood being shuffled around the most war stricken region of the world. Determined to escape the harsh realities of war, my family moved to "Amerika". I did not speak a lick of English and making it in America was extremely challenging but I learned success is not a destination or a journey – it is an outlook. I look at every obstacle as a blessing. Although my family lived below the poverty line, I promised to never let the lack of resources stop me from reaching my goals. I became the first person in my family to graduate high school, earn a full ride scholarship to the University of Washington, Studied Abroad at the University of Greenwich in London, graduated with honors in Public Health and Medical Anthroplogy and self-designed a 7,000 mile overland trip to 12 countries in Africa and the Middle East.

The inquisitive and creative kid behind the smile has emerged into a world leader.

My diverse experiences have taught me how to seamlessly transcend cultural, political, economic and linguistic barriers. I am using my voice to cultivate and share the stories of phenomenal people around the globe. I am a world traveler creating an international media platform which bridges us through our human expereinces and constantly challenges us LIVE to our fullest potential.
