York Wang

Hi! I'm York Wang, and I'm currently living abroad in Taiwan, specifically the city of Hsinchu. A second-generation resident of California, I was raised with billingual parents, but I never really formally took Chinese lessons, and thus living in Taiwan has been a little more than a challenge for me.

I was born and raised in Cupertino until 3rd grade, when my family and I moved to the Saratoga, the next town over, for better school districts. After my freshman year in high school, our family decided to move to Taiwan, and I've been residing here ever since!

THIMUN Online Model United Nations, a THIMUN-affiliated organization, is a platform that has been built up by inspiring students across the world. Its focus is on spreading the accessibility of the activity itself to those who cannot participate in MUN in any other ways, and because of its international availability, it inherently allows participants to meet their peers from other countries. O-MUN is truly an amazing program that helps its members develop their skills and open their eyes to the perspectives of other cultures and nationalities, and is continually accepting potential members.
