Business executive Yosef Meystel possesses more than 15 years of experience in residential administration. He is president of Aperion Care, a Chicago-based company providing post-hospital rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care. Possessing a strong background in accounting, Yosef Meystel oversaw all of the financial responsibilities for the centers, including negotiating with banks and securing loans. During his time with Aperion Care, he spearheaded the creation of 24 facilities throughout Illinois, Indiana, and Texas. Today, he focuses primarily on healthcare investment and philanthropy.
Yosef Meystel is a graduate of Indiana University South Bend School of Business and Economics, from which he earned a master of business administration. Aiming to prepare each student for future business leadership roles, the program presented an opportunity for Mr. Meystel to further his skills in analytical and critical thinking.
After earning his graduate degree, Mr. Meystel commenced his career in healthcare administration as an assistant administrator at the Chicago-based Brightview Care Center. He later gained experience at a Lincolnwood, Illinois, senior-living community, overseeing 150 employees as an administrator for EMI/EKS Management. Mr. Meystel also acquired and managed four Chicago apartment buildings before working with Aperion Care.
Outside of his professional activities, Meystel actively participates in the Illinois Jewish community. He regularly attends an area synagogue in addition to serving as a board member of Joan Dachs Bais Yaakov, a local faith-based elementary school. He is also involved in organizations such as the Chicago Center for Torah and Chesed.
