Yossellyne Huerta

I am a Biology student graduating in May 2016. I am also working on getting my graduate certificate in Public Health. One of my major passions is medicine. My major goal is to go to PA school once I graduate.

I work with Student Involvement as a Lead Mentor at the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley. This job allows me to help and give advice to mentors that work with non-college ready entering freshman.

Aside from my educational/work career, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy traveling and learning about new cultures. I own 4 dogs (I am a dog lover). Other things I enjoy doing during my leisure time is dancing and doing makeup.
