Yotvat Kariti is born in 1984 in New York. She is a professional street, documentary, and portrait photographer. Yotvat started her photography business, which is split between print business, a portrait photography business and working with companies and people around New York.

She graduated from the International Center of Photography (ICP) and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Photography. Furthermore, Yotvat received her Master’s Degree in Photography from the School of Visual Arts. She has spent few years assisting for commercial photographers after graduating.

Kariti began photographing people on the New York streets for fun. Over the years the hobby has grown into her profession. Yotvat started learning New York’s history and architecture and exploring its neighborhoods and became certified to run New York Photography Tours and New York Street Photography Workshops.

Her real passion is documenting the personalities and stories of the city. Yotvat is inspired by people’s daily life, the architecture and the history of New York.
