Young Hong

I am a seventh grader that is very grateful for my IB class. My IB class is an IB and STEM class because we worked on many projects that related to them. STEM means science, technology, engineering, and math. IB means international baccaulaureate. In this class,I do many projects that teach us about the Areas of Interaction, technology,and other things. Our projects always relates to IB,science,math,and engineering like 20% projects. The Areas of Interaction are Community and Service,Environments,Human Inguenity,Approaches to learning,and Health and Social Education.

20% projects are projects that we have to spend 20% of our time. We have to do a project that has a topic,ex: dentristry, and do a project like a comic or an acrostic poem. In our first and second trimesters,we had done the 20% projects. We had to do most of the projects on the computer. Approaches to Learning is related to this project because we learn about our topic.

Another one of our project is the No bull project. The No bull project is a internet competition,which 6-12th graders participate in.In that project,we had to make a video that helps end cyberbullying. We used Imovie on the computer and other equipment to make the video. Community and Service is in this movie because the movie is about getting rid of cyberbullying.
