Hello! My name is Terie. I am a stay at home mom of 2 beautiful children and a wife to a wonderful, loving husband. I love photography, volleyball, camping and the outdoors. 5 months ago after a yearly physical exam, I received some news that my cholesterol levels were elevated. I am 28 years of age and I’m not overweight. Those results made me take a good look at myself in the mirror and promise myself that this year, I would change my pace.

The purpose of this blog is to motivate myself as well as my followers to change your pace. For the last couple of years I’ve needed a change in my life. I have been through depression, lack of energy, moodiness, extreme fatigue, and mainly lack of motivation. I’ve had many stresses that may have contributed to those things but I also know for a fact that it is mainly from the way I’ve been eating and from a lack of exercise. I will use this blog like a journal to not only benefit myself but to also help those out there that may be struggling to find motivation in life. Even now, as I type I still have some of these issues. Most mornings my 3 year old has to drag me out of bed so that I can get her breakfast. Should her needs be motivating enough for me to get up on my own? Of course! My goal is to find motivation for life through exercise and good nutrition. I will be experimenting with different exercises, diets, recipes, training programs, you name it, to make a difference in my life and I want to share my experiences with you to help you change your pace and in turn we can bask in the positive improvements that we've made in our lives together.
