I am a glad husband and dad. I am a Lutheran pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. I love what God created in the Pacific Northwest (clouds, rain and all). I serve a congregation in the Seattle-Tacoma metro: @stjohnslakewood. I like the academic minutia of several subjects (sociology, geography, theology, writing, journalism/media, baseball/sports; area studies of the Salish Sea, Canada, Scandinavia, Korea). I love to travel but I am glad to be in the Seattle metro, because seriously, I don't like the sun (but I tolerate it during the 1-2 months it comes out in the summer). I'm developing the 3rd season in my athletic life. I look for partnerships in a variety of subjects often that connect God and people. I like to teach, facilitate and encourage.
