I started my career in the mortgage industry with an internship at Norwest Financial (later known as Wells Fargo Financial), while attending Loyola Marymount University back in 1998. Shortly after graduation, Norwest offered me a full time position. Within the year, I became the youngest branch manager in the State of California. I was there until entering the broker world in 2001. From 2001-2008, I worked for Mortgage 2000, a broker firm. In 2006, I left to become co-founder of First Home Front.
It was at this time, in an effort to help the Latino community, I became a member of NAHREP. In 2008, I became a Marketing Director of the Los Angeles chapter. Presently, I am Executive Director of the Board.
After three years of being my own boss, I went to work for Milestone Mortgage as an Area Sales Manager. By this time, it was 2009 and the Broker world was changing and my team and I wanted to change with it, therefore, my team and I went to work for a direct lender. In 2009, we joined iServe Residential Lending.
