Yousef Ghandour
Yousef has over 12 years experience in the technology industry, with extensive experience in building strong and effective software teams and products, in both startup and established business environments. He was one of the earliest adopters of the Scrum/Agile framework, and actively promoted it in the local market.
Yousef is an entrepreneur, he is currently working on his new venture in the mobile and social domain. Yousef founded a number of startups, such as Timevel (demo.timevel.com), Bubzi (www.bubzi.com), and was involved with a number of other startups including gSoft Technologies. He is determined, even in tough conditions, to succeed as an entrepreneur.
Prior to his entrepreneurship journey, he served as a software and product consultant, helping companies develop and adopt strategies for building software products.
In 2006, Yousef joined G.ho.st and built the first R&D team there. Prior to joining G.ho.st, Yousef led a number of teams in tech companies serving local and international clients, including Adam Smith international, AED, USAID, Government and Volvo.
With a long time passion for leading and supporting technology entrepreneurship in his community, Yousef founded Peeks (www.peeks.ps) and GTUG Palestine (http://pal.gtugs.org), fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship with the goal of building successful ventures out of Palestine and the Arab world.
