Yousseif Abdellatif is a prominent Egyptian politician, political analyst, and parliamentary researcher with over 30 years of extensive field and legislative experience in public service. Recognized as a leading political figure in Upper Egypt, he served as an elected member of the Asyut Provincial Council and famously chaired its Local Administration Committee from 2008 to 2011.

Deeply rooted in the prestigious "Al-Wafd Party" school of thought, he has held numerous leadership and organizational positions, including Assistant Secretary-General of the Al-Wafd General Committee in Asyut. Beyond his distinguished political career, Abdellatif is a prolific writer and influential intellectual with a vast portfolio exceeding 216 published articles across Egypt’s major national and independent newspapers—including Al-Wafd, El-Ommal, and Al-Horia News.

He currently serves as the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Al-Lewaa Al-Dawlia Newspaper, where he directs political coverage and editorial strategy. He is also the author of the acclaimed book "Diaries of a Troublemaker" (Yowmiat Moshagheb), and his current research focuses deeply on National Sovereignty, Digital Transformation, and Political Strategy.
